Meh!
UCAS is how you apply to go to a university in the United Kingdom. It requires you to register, add information about past courses, grades, employment history etc etc….
One thing that really annoys me about UCAS, is the personal statement. Its so boring, and the requirements are stupid. Personal Statement? More like a “Big me up!”… It requires you to write about yourself, what you’re good at, and why you think the university should accept your application. You cannot write more than 42 lines, which makes it harder. Spelling is a must! It says that you should do it in an external editor prior to uploading your application, but it also says that you shouldn’t beleive the Spell Checker. Thank god ASpell works in US and UK English modes! 
I just wish they’d make the application process a lot simpler. For example:
- Removing the Personal Statement requirements.
- Make the Personal Statement easier to write, like sections etc…
- Make it easier for Tutor/Individual Referee’s to write their stuff about you.
Just on a side note, I’ve finally got one of my previous tutors from college to sort my referee out. Bonus
Bit late i know, but just been having a nosey… It would also help if there wasn’t so much crap on the forms that they wanted you to fill in. I’m not doin the UCAS form coz i’m going direct to Runshaw xD… I would have filled it in though if it didn’t have all that junk in it. P.S. Which tutor? >.<
